Brian currently serves as Director of Strategy for AHA, a communications agency focused on the intersection of brands and social impact. He is also an adjunct faculty member at Presidio Graduate School in San Francisco, where he teaches a course on marketing and sustainability. Prior to AHA, Brian lead brand and customer experience for Loop Energy, a zero-emission transportation company. He also served as Managing Director and a founding partner of Character LLC, a firm that creates story frameworks for brands.
Brian began his career at the Coca-Cola Company, where he worked in brand management, strategic planning and new product development.
Brian has a BA in History and Political Science from Duke University and an MBA from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University. He lives in Portland, Oregon with his wife Robin and sons Owen and Oliver. He is an avid fly-fisherman, science fiction reader and Duke basketball fan.
