Madza Ednir


Madza Ednir, an educator and communicator, is a senior member of CECIP, a non-profit civil society organization based in Brazil, created by a group of people around the ideas of Paulo Freire, its first President. A most active part of CECIP’s team, Madza Ednir has written and edited books and educational toolkits (http://www.cecip.org.br/site/category/midiateca/)  and organized seminars and training activities with teachers and change agents. 

She was one of the leaders to disseminate Restorative Justice and Global Education Citizenship  in Brazil, working with educators on the projects Justice and Education, a partnership for citizenship  and Global Curriculum . 

Madza Ednir  represents CECIP in the Campaign for a Global Curriculum of Social Solidarity Economy, an articulation of education networks, organizations and social movements towards democratic, sustainable and solidary-driven ways to produce, trade, consume and communicate.
