Story at Work
Aaron Foley is no stranger to the media. He has been a journalist, a magazine editor and a frequent commentator on his home territory of Detroit. His 2015 book "How to Live in Detroit Without Being a Jackass" points to the importance of looking beyond your own neighbourhood to consider the wider community. In 2017 he was appointed by the Mayor to be the chief storyteller for Detroit. Â We talk about the challenges and opportunities of this role.
Aaron invites you to get in touch with him if you want to explore working like this in your place. @aaronfoley Also have a look at the Detroit neighbours site to get a better feel for the work they are doing to create the community story.
