In 1995 Lorna’s niece ran away from home. That catapulted her into using her story skills to support youth at risk, in shelters, treatment centers and transition homes. As a trained teacher, with a background in Special Education and trauma counseling certification, she is a staunch advocate for the power of story in changing the way people see community and themselves.
